Biochar evaluation in potted plants for its soil improver capacity.

Experiments were carried out on potted lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa, L.) on soils of different compositions coming from the Laboratory of Agricultural Constructions & Equipment (AUTH farm). The use of biochar as a soil conditioner showed that its addition contributed to plant growth. It is useful to further evaluate its use in different plants and/or in the field.
